Growing up in Mississippi, I always wanted to work in Jackson.  While I have worked all over the state, working here has been the highlight of my career. I’m grateful for the people who listen to me every afternoon from 3 to 7 on Blues 93-1.  The goal is to make my show as fun and entertaining as possible and playing some of the greatest music ever made.

I love taking rides to the reservoir with the love of my life Jannet.  Being there with her gives me a sense of peace and serenity.  We love the restaurants downtown in the Fondren area, as well.  The food and the atmosphere feels festive. We also like visiting museums here in town like the Civil Rights Museum downtown.

My wife says I never meet a stranger, and being here in the capital city has allowed me to meet a lot of new and interesting people; all whom are very special and welcoming.  They have a great spirit like all the folks from my home town Laurel.

The Magnolia state has been home to the Blues forever, starting in the cotton fields of the delta.  Check out the Blues clubs in Clarksdale along with Hal and Mal’s in downtown Jackson for “Blue Monday”.   if You love the Blues, you need to visit Hal and Mal’s.

I look forward to making my mark here in the capitol city and entertaining my fellow Jacksonians from 3-7 every afternoon on 93-1 The Blues.
